This infection and soreness may lead to the penile enlargement.
Symptoms - There are many symptoms of yeast infection such as severe itching, burning, soreness and irritation of the vagina. In men too the most common symptom is irritation and soreness in the upper part of the penis. Men can get a discharge too. The head of the penis can change its color and it may be reddish and get blistery.
Cure - Candidiasis can be easily and successfully treated with home remedy medications. But home remedies are adequate and good enough for health when the infection is minor. Patients must seek medical advice because sometimes the infection may be something entirely different. In such circumstances, medicine is the only solution to the yeast infection.
Famous antifungal drugs which are usually used to treat yeast infection are topical clotrimazole, topical nystatin, fluconazole, topical ketoconazole and Diflucan (fluconazole); which kills other types of Candida and some other fungi. If the situation becomes out of control then the patient should be admitted in hospital or take amphotericin B, caspofungin, or voriconazole medicines.
Yeast infection can affect anyone (especially women) but by taking sufficient precautionary measures (like cleanliness, etc) one can reduce the chances of it significantly.
